A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT
BLACK DOLPHIN
OVER 45 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SECURITY EXPERIENCE.

BLACK DOLPHIN CEO
At the age of fourteen, my primary aspiration was to serve my nation and uphold the freedoms that define it. The principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness represent the universal dream, and I was determined to advocate for all three. Until I achieved this goal, nothing else could take precedence in my life; serving my country felt like an obligation I was compelled to fulfill. This commitment was paramount, and I understood that true fulfillment, success, and happiness would only come after this mission was realized.
Upon reflection, I recognized that no amount of wealth could replace the profound sense of patriotism and dedication I felt toward defending freedom. A prominent figure who embodies this spirit is Pat Tillman, a former NFL player who left his professional career to enlist in the Army after the September 11 attacks. His example demonstrates that genuine patriotism transcends financial gain. The phrase “All Gave Some; Some Gave All; Some Still Give” resonates deeply, with Pat Tillman epitomizing the ultimate sacrifice. I honor him and all those who have given their all.
I would be remiss not to pay tribute to my late brother George, who bravely served in the Korean War. He was present when the ceasefire was declared and often recounted the exact time and date of that pivotal moment. My brother Van also served in the Vietnam War, and I was still a child when our mother received the news that he had extended his tour by an additional year. My brother-in-law, Larry Jones, also served, and we frequently reminisce about our military experiences during our conversations. Additionally, my nephews Jeffery and Weldon served as well, and their sacrifices and stories are equally honored. While we were fortunate to return home, I will forever pay tribute to those who did not. As the saying goes, “Freedom is not free.”
Fast forward to my eighteenth birthday: I realized my ambition by joining the military and ultimately serving twenty years of active duty. Upon retirement, I felt a profound sense of validation. I had fulfilled my duty, experiencing success, accomplishment, and happiness along the way. I believed I had made the right choice, having realized my goal of fighting for freedom. Without this experience, my life journey would have felt incomplete.
For two decades, I dedicated myself to safeguarding the freedoms we cherish in this nation. I am proud to announce that this chapter has concluded, my obligation fulfilled, and my mission accomplished. However, my commitment to service continues in a new capacity. If granted the opportunity, I aim to protect the safety and security of my fellow citizens and their properties by providing the highest quality security services available. Drawing on my military training and expertise, I am dedicated to ensuring that you receive unparalleled protection.
With 45 years of international law enforcement and security experience, I am proud to serve both the Black Dolphin Security team and our clients. We are here to support you.
